Burt Byproxy is a bad motherfucker. He drives a Ford Grand Torino that is riddled with bullet holes the size of your fucking head. He doesn't work, unless you call being a freelance private investigator, hitman, real estate developer and part-time mustache model, working. When he's not busy living the life of a seventies playboy, he's jet-skiing, drinking whiskey and living the life of a seventies playboy.
Burt is also an accomplished artist whose portraits have graced the walls of several dive bars in Portland, Oregon. He once famously sold a painting to The Know for "one hundred beers," and is considering even higher beer offers from neighboring establishments. Bizarrely, he signs his paintings 'SD Elliott,' the name of his alter-ego, whom he describes as "equally badass."

Just as Chewbacca never really hung out with other Wookies, Mansfield has never had much time for her own gender. Sure she buys bras and lipstick like other ladies, but there have been more than a few Saturday nights where she found herself in a room full of doods watching internet porn clips and drinking malt liquor beverages. Over the years, she's heard some amazing things from the mouths of her doods, so many amazing things that she decided to write a comic strip based entirely on the hilarious, disturbing and uncensored musings of real doods.
Mansfield has a day job making fake meat, in Dood River, Oregon. In her free time she likes to watch zombie movies, read wikipedia, dress up in costumes and play Dance, Dance Revolution. Her first book, Hate Mail, was published under the nom de plume, m.m. garcia.
