Regular visitors will not be surprised to know that Burt has been busy. The illustrations are now a whopping two months behind schedule. Wow... Just think of all the things you would do with two months, and before you get all worked up, forget all that mundane shit and enjoy a tiny peek into my datebook for today.

- 3pm-4pm Weekly meeting at the Russian Roulette Appreciation Society

- 9pm-12am Drinks with whoever Kate Moss is dating today, sex with Kate Moss
- 12am-5am Test piloting experimental Soviet tank
- 5am-6am Photoshoot with a men's magazine that I cannot disclose
- 6am-6:30am Pinball

You know sometimes dudes say some interesting shit. I mean shit so amusing that it merits more than just eight panels to convey the complex humor and zen-like philosphy behind the dude. In times like these, I feel like I have to give a doodism its due. So this week instead of a comic, you get a story.
Sorry, I know. Reading IS hard. That's why Burt drew you a picture; to ease you into this whole reading about dudes idea.
So I hope you enjoy this tribute to extraordinatory lengths that a dude will go to for some action. The guy who inspired this story is a legend and don't let the ambiguity of the ending hint at anything less. I don't know if anybody has taught me more about the nature of dudes than the real-life Randy.
Here's to you, real-life Randy. This is for you and dollar well drinks at the Second Act. Two classics that never get old.
